So what’s happening with the 1st airdrop? 🤔
1st Airdrop → 2 Times?
What does this mean exactly? The EVM bridge will take some more time to finish and be ready because we want to optimise all parameters and make sure it’s safe to use. Therefore we decided to break down the 1st RED airdrop to all BAX holders into 2 phases.
Phase 1 — A random snapshot will be taken sometime during September 2024 of all eligible users holding BAX in either their self-custody wallet (like Metamask, Ledger, etc) and all holding BAX in the BABB app. The multipliers (from the previous article) will remain the same.
Phase 2 — Once the EVM bridge is fully released and ready to be used, we will properly announce all details and a step-by-step guide on how to use it for the 2nd phase of the 1st RED airdrop. So keep those notis 🛎️ on and don’t miss a thing!
The Rationale
We are sure most of you guys have seen it already, but for those who haven’t…we recently got notified that KuCoin will stop operating in the US, resulting in BAX not being tradeable on their platform. We are exploring new solutions as we write this article and will keep you updated.
In addition, the EVM bridge is taking longer than we wanted, and we are always prioritising security in our products, thus we wanted to give an ‘’earlier airdrop’’ to all of you.
Last but not least, we think it’s fairer to keep the airdrop simple for users not familiarised with bridging, or people who don’t want to interact with the bridge at all (even though we highly encourage everyone to try it in the future)!
With that being said, the 1st phase of the airdrop will happen very soon, so for anyone in the US who wishes to participate in the 1st RED airdrop and hasn’t downloaded the BABB app, you can do so here:

A Last Note
This will be the first of many airdrops we planned out for you all, whether you are already a part of our community or new members that join us.
⚡Important: For this airdrop, you don’t have to do any action to participate. The snapshot will be taken on the blockchain, and if you hold BAX in either a self-custody wallet or the BABB app, you will receive the corresponding RED tokens straight to your wallet. So please, do not follow any links or interact with a dApp as that’s most likely a scam or a fishy attempt to steal your personal information. Simply stay put, and hold your BAX to be eligible.
